Most small business websites start life as a bought theme. It looks close enough on day one. Then you need a booking form that talks to your calendar, or a product filter that matches how you actually sell, and the theme fights you the whole way. Every fix adds another plugin, and every plugin adds weight.
We write the site instead. That means the pages contain what your business needs and nothing else, the code is readable by any developer who comes after us, and the page a visitor loads is small because nothing unused was ever added to it.
We have been doing this since 2014. The tools changed several times over those years, the habit did not: understand the business first, then write only what serves it.

Do you build on WordPress or use a theme?
Not for new work. A bought theme with a page builder ships the code for every feature you did not buy it for, and it is why so many local sites fail Core Web Vitals. We write the site instead. If you already run WordPress and your team likes it, we will keep it as the editing screen and rebuild only the public site to read from it.
Can my team edit the site without a developer?
Yes. Content sits in a CMS with a normal editing screen. Adding a page, swapping an image or changing prices is something a non technical person can do in a few minutes.
Who owns the code you write?
You do, once the project is paid for. The repository is yours, hosting is in your account where you prefer it, and there is no licence you have to keep renewing with us.
